Organic Soy Bar Mixed Berry - 12 barsThe only heart-healthy organic bar! Chewy soy/oat base loaded with organic cranberries, cherries and blueberries. USDA Organic
What does organic mean?
Organic food is produced and regulated according to certain production standards. Organic soybeans are grown without pesticides, herbicides, sludge, radiation or any kind of artificial fertilizers or additives. Typically, organic foods are richer in nutrients from the soil and sow the same richness back into the soil. So rather than depleting the goodness of the soil, the organic soybean builds the soil back up!
Does natural mean organic?
No. Natural and organic are not interchangeable. Other truthful claims, such as free-range, hormone-free, and natural, can still appear on food labels. However, don't confuse these terms with "organic."
